1. Currently, crossbows are allowed in the Minnesota archery deer season by special permit for disabled archers and during the firearms deer, bear and turkey seasons. How do you feel about how Minnesota regulates crossbows?

2. Quality Deer Management (QDM) is currently being implemented in other states. The theory (although controversial) is that it produces a larger supply of mature bucks and assures better overall health of the herd. How do you feel about QDM in Minnesota if some form of it was made mandatory?

Note: In reviewing the answers to this question it is clear that members were confused by the multiple options offered. Analysis of survey answers to this question indicated that:

A. Approximately 62% of the members reported they favor some form of QDM. At the March 27, 2009, DNR Roundtable meeting in Rochester it was reported that the survey results at that time indicated 56%. More surveys have been received and the updated number as of April 3, 2009, is 62%.
